When time passes and we remember the year 2025 for something specific, it will be for how artificial intelligence flooded every corner of our lives: it has been shoehorned into even unnecessary mobile apps, and companies have started using it even if they had nothing to do with it. One of the good things about this tsunami of technology has been the arrival of ChatGPT on our mobile phones.

We have even seen our grandparents trying to hold conversations with ChatGPT. OpenAI has managed to get even the older generations to spend hours killing time joking around with its artificial intelligence program.

The success has been such that they have decided to launch ChatGPT Go, a new, fully affordable subscription plan.

For only four dollars a month, both our grandparents and we will be able to talk to GPT in a more extended model than the old free plan. We like technology, but the full $20 subscription is too much for many people.

ChatGPT Go: the new Lite Subscription

OpenAI has created Google Chat as an alternative for students, content creators, freelancers, and frequent users who often exceed the limitations of the free plan but don’t need the maximum level of use offered by the more expensive version. It would be the equivalent of a Hulu account with ads.

This may be because it has faced competition from other powerful artificial intelligences, such as Google’s Gemini Pro. When the waters are troubled, fishermen benefit; users are the ones who benefit from this internal war between artificial intelligence companies, which are trying to win over more users than their enemies.

The ChatGPT Go plan expands on several of the tools that were already widely used within its artificial intelligence, only now they are offered at a much lower price than the standard subscription we were used to.

What’s included in ChatGPT Go?

The big news is that you now have access to Chat GPT-five, OpenAI’s flagship model, which allows you to ask more questions and responds faster.

What’s more, you have access to create higher resolution images, which are very useful for both work and personal use. From now on, there will also be analysis of documents, spreadsheets, and other formats without as many restrictions. If you like advanced data analysis, tools such as Python will now be included to explore data and technical problems (very useful if you are a student in a STEM degree).

This subscription model will also have a longer memory, so you can have more personalized responses and more coherent conversations. If you’ve been asking it specific questions about mathematics, for example, it will refine its responses to match your search profile.

Finally, it will give you access to projects, tasks, and other personalized features. This subscription model helps you organize your work, provides objective follow-up, and lets you create or edit GPTs tailored to your specific needs.

If you are a college student who wants to rely on artificial intelligence but does not have enough financial resources to pay for the standard subscription, ChatGPT Go may be the solution.

ChatGPT Go vs. the Standard Subscription

Of course, this affordable subscription has its limits. Although it would then have the capabilities of the free plan, the more expensive subscription still offers the highest limits available. Users with the standard subscription have priority access to new features and can make more intensive use of advanced models and tools.

You could say that the Gold subscription is a middle ground; perfect for those who often run out of the free plan but don’t quite need the premium plan yet. If you want to try GPT GPT chat more extensively but are afraid to pay a $20 subscription yet, this may be the step to take. Who knows? You might like it so much that you end up paying for the premium version in a couple of months.

In the meantime, we urge you to check out this four-dollar plan and discover the full potential of this artificial intelligence.
