We all know Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, but I’m sure you are even more familiar with Jeffrey Epstein. It’s on the news all the time and the Epstein Files show something horrible powerful people did.
Recent documents claimed that Bill Gates allegedly might have had relationships with ‘’Russian girls’’ while married to Melinda Gates and that he allegedly may have contracted a sexually transmitted disease. So, let’s find out more about this case and what Gates had to say about the allegations.
Names in the story
Before starting to tell you what happened, it’s important to know who the people we are going to mention are. Apart from Bill Gates, you will find other high-profile individuals like:
- Melinda Gates: ex-wife of Bill Gates; they were married from 1994 to 2021.
- Jeffrey Epstein: financier accused of sex trafficking; died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial.
- Ghislaine Maxwell: Epstein’s associate, serving a 20-year prison sentence for recruiting underage girls.
- Boris Nikolic: Gates’ former advisor mentioned in the emails.
It is important to note that appearing in the Epstein Files does not mean someone committed a crime. The files contain emails, photos, court documents, and evidence collected during investigations, but names appear without proof of wrongdoing.
What are the Epstein Files?
The Epstein Files are documents collected by the Department of Justice and FBI during investigations of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. They include: emails, flight logs, contact lists, court lists, court records, and testimonies from victims and witnesses.
Many of these documents were sealed for years, and only a portion has been publicly released. The release follows the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which requires the DOJ, FBI, and U.S. Attorney’s offices to release unclassified records related to Epstein and Maxwell.
What the documents say about Bill Gates
The Epstein Files include messages written by Jeffrey Epstein back in 2013. In these emails, Epstein wrote about his frustration because Gates ended his relationship with him after 6 years. What’s more, the documents include highly personal claims, such as Gates allegedly needing antibiotics for Melinda Gates, his then-wife, and mentions of sexual health issues.
A spokesperson for Gates told the Daily Mail:
“These claims are absolutely absurd and completely false. The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame him.”
The emails also include drafts written from the perspective of Boris Nikolic, Gates’ top advisor at the time, who resigned from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation around the same period. In these emails, Nikolic allegedly stated that he was unintentionally involved in marital disputes and ethically questionable situations while working for Gates.
The messages allegedly include requests from Epstein such as helping Gates deal with consequences from relationships with “Russian girls”, facilitating illicit trusts, and other morally and legally questionable tasks while acting as a medical consultant.
To sum up
Everything related to the Epstein Files sounds like a nightmare and all the headlines sound shocking. However, according to Bill Gates, what’s being said about him in those documents comes directly from Epstein’s frustrated writings, and not evidence of illegal activity.
We’ll see how this case continues developing and whether we will discover new public figures in these Epstein Files.
