A new store is opening in the city. The commercial space located at 21 W. Ninth St., formerly home to House of Chá, will now house a boutique called Little K & Co, offering clothing for babies and children, as well as toys. “Little K & Co is coming to downtown Lawrence and we are so excited!” the store announced on its social media. “Stay tuned for updates as we transform our new space and plan to open in January! We will be located at 21 W. 9th St., between Wheatfields and Weavers. See you there!” the company statement reads.

The company is known for the quality of its products, its carefully curated and unique catalog, and its commitment to environmental responsibility. On its official website, it describes itself as a brand that strives to avoid using plastic whenever possible: “At The Little K Company, we believe that the products our children use every day should be safe for them and environmentally friendly. Our premium stainless steel lunchboxes, snack containers, and utensils are made with non-toxic, food-grade stainless steel and thoughtfully designed for modern family life.” This is especially significant considering they arrived in downtown Lawrence with children’s clothing and gifts after relocating from Eudora.

“Our products include items from newborn to new moms, clothing from birth to 14 and some women’s items” – The Team

Local media explain how the launch of the new location has been. “We are two local moms that used to shop at Sweet Tea & Caviar and dreamed of having a baby boutique of our own,” Kaylee Nye and Katlyn Gress wrote via email Monday. “Our products include items from newborn to new moms, clothing from birth to 14 and some women’s items, and unique toys and gifts for all ages,” the website reads.

You can also purchase a Gift Card of any value from their website

The company emphasizes the origin of the products they sell, assuring that they are “completely plastic-free, leak-proof and built to last. Our dishwasher-safe designs are durable enough to accompany your child throughout their school years, helping families reduce waste and enjoy the peace of mind of knowing their lunch contains only freshness and nutrition.”

The brand’s clothing and accessories stand out for their originality and product quality, as Little K and Co. proudly proclaims. If you’d rather give a gift, you can also purchase a Gift Card of any value from their website and give a thoughtful present to a family. “Shopping for someone else but not sure what to give them? Give them the gift of choice with a Little K & Co gift card. Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees,” explains the official website.
